A wind is blowing with joy on the new edition of the Festival du Cerf-Volant et du Vent - the Kite and Wind Festival of Châtelaillon-Plage, on the French Atlantic coast. Between 19th and 21st April, the sky will be your recreation ground. The kites will be celebrated again with acrobatic performances, competitions, kite-manufacturing workshops and many other activities.
Risk-takers can practice parachuting, go for their very first Helicopter ride but also board a sail wagon. The wisest might remain open-mouthed in front of a display of aerobatics performed by the French Air Force or watching a Kite surfing exhibition.
Unmissable during the Easter weekend is the famous "egg hunt", activity that the youngest will be happy to attend. Similarly, they will have fun with the other activities that will take place in the area reserved to the children. The parents on the other hand, will appreciate "Vol de Nuit", the air show that will close the first day of this event.
In other words, a festival that allows to keep the feet in the sand while having the head in the clouds, and a perfect escape at the end of the thread.
