Beautifully Renovated 1920s Village House in the Heart of Lefkes | Paros – ID 2313422

Hidden amongst the picturesque cobblestone alleys in the heart of Lefkes, one of Paros’ most beautiful and historic villages, this charming traditional house offers a wonderful blend of authentic Cycladic character and contemporary design. Originally built in the 1920s, the property was completely restructured and renovated in 2020, thoughtfully preserving the charm and simplicity of the original village home while creating a stylish, comfortable and highly functional interior suited to modern living. Extending over 54.02 m² across two levels, the house has been cleverly designed to make excellent use of its compact footprint. The ground floor features a welcoming open-plan kitchen and living area, together with a modern bathroom. Clean lines and contemporary finishes complement the traditional character of the building, creating an interior that feels both fresh and connected to its past. An impressive architectural feature of the home is its sculptural concrete staircase, designed with individual steps appearing to emerge directly from the wall. The staircase leads to the upper level, where a spacious bedroom and a second modern bathroom create a comfortable and private sleeping area. The bedroom opens onto a charming little balcony overlooking the traditional village of Lefkes, offering a delightful vantage point from which to enjoy the distinctive rooftops and atmosphere of this beautiful Cycladic settlement. An additional advantage of the property is that both levels also benefit from independent access. This provides valuable flexibility for the future owner and creates the potential, subject to any necessary requirements or approvals, to configure the property as two independent one-bedroom studios. Its location is an integral part of its appeal. Set within the heart of the traditional settlement, the house is approached through the characteristic cobblestone pedestrian alleys that give Lefkes its unique charm and sense of history. Despite its position within the old village, a public parking area is conveniently located nearby, making everyday access particularly practical. Combining nearly a century of history with a thoughtful contemporary renovation, this delightful home is ideal for anyone seeking an authentic village residence with character — whether as a romantic island retreat, a stylish holiday home or a distinctive property with interesting rental potential.
