ABOUT VILLA AMARISA As soon as you step into Villa Amarisa you realize that this villa is unlike any other. Views of the sea and blue sky are just part of the charm here, the highlight being the owner's personal collection of rare antiques, sculpture, and art from around the world. Similar to living in a museum, although very luxurious, a stay at Villa Amarisa offers limitless opportunities for your jaw to drop in awe. At the very entrance, sculpted wooden Indian pillars and a limited-edition Ducati motorbike prepare you for the grandeur that awaits you at this unique and exclusive villa. Even the elevator is stunning, framed by intricate wooden door frames and with dramatic black interiors highlighted by gold-plated leaf. Allowing for easy mobility for seniors, the elevator skillfully takes you to lower levels, where polished hardwood floors span five spacious suites and an expansive living and dining area. Built in honor of the owner's mother, the love and care put into the design of the villa is reflected in details such as an intricately woven rug donated by the King of Bhutan, an old black panther from 200 year old flamingo feather hats -size sculpture of an apsara dating back to 2-3 BC. A true paradise island, the villa invites you to cool off in its remarkable 24-meter sea-view infinity pool with integrated jacuzzi, or to enjoy a floating breakfast. Relax lazily on the shaded loungers and treat yourself to a glass of champagne or sunbathe. For those with more energy, the gym is well-equipped, while others can curl up on the plump sofas for a competitive game of chess. The attentive staff of the villa are on hand to assist with all your needs. The villa manager can advise on local sights and recommend outdoor dining options, while the skilled chef prepares delicious international or Thai delicacies that will make your mouth water. A vacation at Villa Amarisa isn't complete without a trip to nearby beautiful Kamala Beach, where local fishermen bustle with the day's catch and the snorkeling is superb.
