Renovated 1900 Stone Maisonette for Sale in Sinarades, West Corfu – ID 2311810

Chase Real Estate is pleased to present this charming two-bedroom stone maisonette for sale in Sinarades, a traditional and well-preserved village in West Corfu just 4km from the celebrated beach of Agios Gordios and thirty minutes from Corfu Town. Originally built in 1900 and comprehensively restored in 2023, this 75m² property on two levels combines the rare authenticity of original stone construction, preserved both inside and out, with a fully modern and immediately liveable specification that includes a brand new roof, upgraded electrical wiring and plumbing, new windows, a fully equipped kitchen, two renovated bathrooms, air conditioning, a 120-litre boiler, and full furnishing included in the sale price. With the village centre and bus stop just steps away and Agios Gordios beach within a short drive, this is a property that is entirely ready to use from the day of acquisition. At €160,000, it represents outstanding value for a fully restored historic stone property in this part of West Corfu. The Maisonette The character of this property begins with its construction. Stone built in 1900 and restored with care for the original material, the walls of this maisonette provide the natural insulation that keeps the interior naturally cool in summer and retains warmth through the winter, a practical and enduring quality of old stone construction that cannot be achieved with more modern building materials. The preservation of the stonework throughout the interior and exterior gives the property a visual and sensory warmth that is entirely authentic and that immediately distinguishes it from renovated properties where the original character has been stripped or concealed in the process of modernisation. The ground floor is organised around an open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area alongside a guest bathroom, providing the social heart of the maisonette in a naturally flowing and well-lit configuration. The staircase, with its iron frame and wooden treads, is an elegant functional detail that reflects the thoughtfulness of the 2023 restoration and that bridges the two floors with a piece of design that feels appropriate to the age and character of the building. The first floor accommodates a spacious bedroom, a second room suitable as a bedroom or study, and a full bathroom, with direct access from the bedroom to a balcony that opens to the street below via an exterior staircase, adding an outdoor dimension and a quality of village connection to the upper sleeping level. The 2023 renovation is complete in the most genuine sense, covering every element of the building's infrastructure and specification. A new roof, new electrical wiring, new water pipes, new windows, a fully equipped kitchen, and two bathrooms completed to a modern standard confirm that no aspect of the building's practical performance has been left unaddressed, and the air conditioning and 120-litre boiler provide the climate and hot water specification for comfortable use throughout the year. The furnishing included in the sale makes the transition from acquisition to use entirely immediate and uncomplicated. The Location Sinarades is one of the most genuinely traditional and well-maintained villages in West Corfu, with a character and an architectural integrity that reflects the authentic Corfiot village heritage of the west coast interior. The village centre and bus stop are steps from the property, providing the everyday convenience and social accessibility of a well-connected village address without a car for daily life. Agios Gordios, one of the most naturally dramatic and visually celebrated beaches on the west coast, is 4km away, and Corfu Town is approximately thirty minutes by car, combining the authentic village setting with practical coastal and urban accessibility. Investment Potential A fully restored 1900 stone maisonette of 75m², furnished and equipped, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, air conditioning, and steps from the village centre in Sinarades, 4km from Agios Gordios beach, at €160,000 is a well-priced and authentically characterful acquisition at an accessible entry point in the West Corfu village property market. The combination of the 2023 renovation quality, the preserved stone construction, and the village centre location give the property a genuine and enduring appeal for buyers seeking the authentic Corfiot village experience alongside west coast beach proximity.
