Douliana is a small picturesque village in the Canée, located 119 meters above sea level in the center of the Apokoronas peninsula.
The village is approximately 25 km south-east of the Canée and 35 km northwest of Rethymnon, and has around 70 permanent inhabitants.
The village has a traditional coffee and taverns where you can taste the authentic Raki Cretois with mezzes prepared from local products.
The big city of Vamos, with its health center opened 24 hours a day, its doctors, its dentist, its butcher, its bakery, its hairdresser and its pharmacy, as well as its many shops and taverns, cafes and restaurants, is a few minutes by car.
ALMIRIDA and its white sandy beaches are about a 10 -minute drive.
Kalyves, with its amenities, its entertainment and its two sandy beaches, is also a few minutes away.
