Villa for sale in Benahavis - Costa del sol with 5 bedrooms – ID 2318722

Enter Casa Flotante, a testament to transcending perfection. Featuring five opulent bedrooms, this architectural marvel celebrates imperfections in a world fixated on flawlessness. Spanning 815m², including terraces, this contemporary villa sprawls across a 4,139m² plot, nestled within the serene hills of Benahavis. Its design ingeniously merges the fluidity of water with a passive architectural style, showcasing exposed concrete with high thermal mass. Approaching the residence, a meticulously groomed driveway leads past a 500-year-old olive tree and a flourishing yucca, each bearing witness to the winds of Andalusian plains. A natural bamboo bridge hovers over water, guiding you to the grand entrance where an awe-inspiring spectacle unfolds. Standing at a towering 20 feet, a ficus bonsai serenely graces a reflective pool, engaging with a waterfall under the filtered sunlight pouring through a glass ceiling. Casa Flotante, inspired by architectural icons like Frank Lloyd Wright and Mies van der Rohe, seemingly levitates upon interconnected water bodies weaving through its structure. A floating bridge links the east and west wings, hosting private suites and a study adorned with global memorabilia, including a fragment of the moon. This residence caters to diverse interests—be it football, golf, music, or the fervor for Tintin and Captain Haddock. The primary suite is a marvel, featuring Italian house Febal Casa's interconnected dressers opening onto a private garden adorned with majestic conifers and fragrant wild jasmines, delivering a regal dressing experience against a floor-to-ceiling back-lit mirror. The shower area within the suite is a spectacle, boasting a retractable glass ceiling for midnight baths under the stars. Luxurious bronze Noken fittings complement the opulent modern linear design. Moving through the house on dark oak panels, you'll discover a master bed that inclines, massages, and even charges your phone. The ambiance is elevated by the warm glow of exquisite Tom Dixon melt lights in a rich rust orange hue. Within the property lies a serene Japanese garden, an oasis for contemplation over green matcha tea. A reflective mirror suspended from the concrete ceiling casts a playful, Alice in Wonderland-inspired effect. Crossing a floating bridge, flanked by a cascading waterfall and a lush moss-covered wall, transports you to a magical realm. The panoramic view of rolling hills beyond a single pane of glass heightens this enchanting experience. Casa Flotante beckons you to step into your own enchanted haven. The living spaces, designed for comfort and elegance, feature a snug living room with a fireplace and ample natural light. Adorned with top-tier brands and products, including Italian moss wall art, ADL Mitica Collection doors, and designer lighting fixtures. The minimalist Modulnova kitchen, equipped with Gaggenau and Smeg appliances, boasts a unique Quooker CUBE water tap providing boiling, hot, cold, filtered, and sparkling water. It seamlessly connects to an elegant dining room and an alfresco terrace. A dedicated cinema room, housing the latest 98-inch Samsung TV, will complement this outstanding villa once completed. With its striking architecture, thoughtful design, and unique elements, this property champions the beauty of embracing imperfections while harmonizing with nature.
