Castello di Pietralata, an ancient fortress where history meets the Ligurian landscape. In the heart of the Ligurian hinterland, on the hills overlooking the Prino Valley, lies Prelà Castello, an ancient settlement that was once part of the County of Pietralata and home to its historic castle. Here, among the stones of this medieval fortress and the olive groves of Western Liguria, the history of some of the region's most important noble families unfolded over the centuries: the Counts of Ventimiglia, the Grimaldi, the Doria, the Lascaris and the House of Savoy.
