In 2025/26 a new, exclusive, modern, elegant and high-quality residential project with clear lines will be built, just 150 m from Kalyves beach. These historical and architectural monuments were our inspiration. Inspired by these iconic landmarks, the residences feature a harmonious blend of natural stone, soft Mediterranean hues and striking arches. They capture the essence of the Cretan past while offering the comforts of modern living. Thoughtfully designed, each home seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing for breathtaking ocean views while maintaining privacy. A central aspect of the design is the privacy of each individual house, which is achieved through the clever reduction of architectural volumes. This creates private, semi-open areas and spacious, projecting balconies. This design approach, combined with large openings, promotes a seamless dialogue between indoor and outdoor spaces. The solid elements and prismatic recesses of the facades interact beautifully with the translucent railings of the balconies, creating a sophisticated balance of shade and openness. These explicitly private villas are almost the same size with areas of 135 to 140 m². Each residence can capture the sunlight within its walls. They are designed with great attention to detail in a modern style for easy-care living. They extend over three floors including the mezzanine. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which is the master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The remaining two guest bedrooms share the second bathroom. From the hall on the ground floor there is access to the private terrace and a 57 m² communal pool for villas 1-4. Villa 5 has a private pool of 15 m² and Villa 6 has a private pool of 19 m². When you arrive on the first floor you will find a beautiful living room that leads to 2 private terraces. There is also an open kitchen and a toilet. Also on this level is the floating staircase that leads to the mezzanine floor with its breathtaking views and fantastic roof terrace. Villas 1 and 5 have a window with seating in the living room. All villas have an 8m² storage/facility room under the communal pool as well as the convenience of a private parking space next to the entrance to the property with a pergola for shade. The quiet, relatively untouched village of Kalyves lies 20 km east of Chania and 40 km west of Rethymno on the north coast of Crete. The area manages to combine the landscape of forests, hills and mountains as well as trees with the stunning Greek sea and the original rustic Cretan architecture. The main sandy beach is about five hundred meters long and has large trees that provide natural shade. There are a number of taverns and cafes along the beach that will serve your appetite with traditional Cretan cuisine. The village is built in the form of an amphitheater along the beach between two hills and the river that divides the village in two with graphic bridges, giving the area a completely different look. Thanks to the rivers that flow through it, Kalives is located in a fertile valley and is full of greenery and surrounded by olive trees
