This group of houses is located in the Parish of São Martinho, Municipality of Funchal, in a tourist area, where its surroundings are dominated by hotel units, accommodation units and some commercial units. The area is served by good pedestrian and road access, as well as public transport. Architecture The Casas Brancas development is part of a land with a rectangular geometric base. From the implementation onwards, we sought to better optimize and utilize the morphology of the land, with the aim of improving not only the use of this space but also creating new and correct street fronts with an appropriate scale. To make this happen, it was decided to maintain the morphology of the terrain in the areas that flank the dedicated bodies, deployed at predominant levels, thus leaving the rest of the terrain as natural as possible.
