Villa in the historic center of Lagos with terrace and sea view – ID 2310191

In one of the quietest and most noble areas of the historic center of the city of Lagos, we present this magnificent traditional house with a huge terrace where you can enjoy a stunning sea view of the Meia Praia bay. In recent years, the house has undergone a thorough and careful renovation, preserving its traditional character in countless details, but offering its inhabitants extreme comfort and well-being. With four bedrooms, three of which are suites with brand new private bathrooms, and several indoor and outdoor spaces that invite you to relax, this is an ideal home for a family who likes to enjoy life or also to make a profit as local accommodation. The traditional tiled façade immediately conveys the traditional note that the owners wanted to preserve and imprint on the renovation carried out. Upon entering, we find a hall and corridor where we can glimpse the charm that emerges in various details in the finishes and decoration. On the ground floor we have the first bedroom with private bathroom, a second service bathroom that also houses the laundry area, and a large open space that joins the kitchen, dining area and living room. An internal balcony in this room allows access to a terrace on the upper floor. But access to the first floor is also via a beautiful internal staircase. On this floor, we have three more charming bedrooms, two with private bathrooms. A balcony on the traditional façade receives the sun from the west and a large terrace on the opposite side of the house benefits from the early morning sun from the east and south. On this terrace, an external staircase gives access to one of the most exclusive spots in the house, the second and even larger terrace on the roof of the house, from where you can see the sea in Meia Praia Bay, along with the movement of boats coming and going from the fishing port and marina. The attention to detail, the decorative details and the choice of mosaics and tiles make this terrace a space with a distinctly traditional and charming soul, with areas of sofas and relaxing chairs, a dining table and a very well-equipped barbecue area. Both during the day and on warm nights, this is a central space in the house, which makes this proposal that we present absolutely unique in the real estate offering in the historic center of Lagos. In terms of comfort and convenience, the double-glazed windows and good thermal and acoustic insulation provided, as well as the climate control provided by recent air conditioning systems, also stand out. If you are looking for a unique home, this is an option you need to know about, as it is possible to purchase it fully furnished. We invite you to contact us to schedule a visit.
