Venda casa Carcassonne com 10 Quartos – ID 2202312

Situated less than ten minutes from Carcassonne we are pleased to offer for sale this spacious and elegant property. Renovated to a very high standard by the current owners, this beautiful house offers a very comfortable family home with good rental income from the two gites. As soon as you enter the hallway you appreciate the qualitly of this renovation. Terrazo tiles in the hallway lead you through to the stunning lounge dining room. Travertine flooring and wonderful fullheight glazed doors lead out on to the wonderful private garden. On the other side of the hallway is a large kitchen, a pantry and laundry room as well as a seperate downstairs cloakroom with toilet and wash handbasin. On the first floor are three spacious bedrooms and a shower room with travertine tiles, walk in shower, vanity unit and toilet. To the rear and overlooking the garden is an office. A handmade craftsman staircase leads up to the second floor actic conversion. A fabulous tv and lounge/games room await. Leading on from here is a cosy bedroom with ensuite bathroom and walk in wardrobe. The best is yet to come with a huge master suite and stylish bathroom with walk-in shower, stand alone bath, double vanity unit and a toilet. The house is heated via a very efficient wood burner - centrally located in the hallwall it heats up the entire house. In the summer there's airconditioning units on the top floor to keep the area cool. The two gites are located to the side of the house along with a garage - with mezzanine for storage and electric shutter for easy access. The two gites have been created to match the quality of the house. Here the exposed stone walls, travertine flooring and wood beams add a warmth and character to the spaces. Gite 1 on the ground floor has an open plan living kitchen area, two bedrooms and shower room. Gite 2 accessed via an exterior staircase and sunny terrase offers double height kitchen/dining area, bedroom, shower room with toilet plus an second wash room with toilet and hand basin. The mezzanine floor is accessed via a stunning metal staircase. The mezzanine floor has a lovely sunny lounge/bedroom. It's rare to find a property of this quality and in such a pretty village so close to Carcassonne. I highly reccommend a viewing to appretiate all this house has to offer.
