Simed 2026 in Málaga: new opportunities in the international property market

From 12 to 14 November, the residential property market once again turns its attention to Simed. The Mediterranean Real Estate Exhibition holds its latest edition at FYCMA (Trade Fairs and Congress Center of Málaga), with an expanded exhibition and a growing international presence. Over three days, the event provides an opportunity to discover new residential developments and connect directly with property developers, sales and marketing companies, and other professionals specialising in investment and international buyers.

Projects from across Spain feature prominently, with a particularly strong presence of developments in Andalusia, especially Málaga and the Costa del Sol, one of Spain’s property markets with the strongest international appeal. Other international projects complement this offering, opening up new opportunities for those looking to invest in or buy property abroad.
 

New markets and residential developments

The international dimension is one of the key features of the 2026 edition. The exhibition showcases property developments from markets including Poland, Portugal, the United States, Mexico, Panama, the Dominican Republic and Dubai. Visitors can explore their residential property offerings while gaining a better understanding of the specific characteristics and investment potential of each destination.

This international focus continues with the Prime Homes Summit, which brings together operators and professionals from the luxury residential property sector and specialists working with international clients. The event encourages exchanges between property developers, sales and marketing companies, investors and specialists working with buyers from different markets. Professionals from Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Belgium, Colombia, Canada, Italy, India, the Netherlands and Chile are represented, alongside those from the countries already mentioned.

Simed also brings together key players from across the property sector, encouraging dialogue and creating new opportunities for collaboration. The exhibition therefore provides dedicated networking spaces and specialised meetings. Among these events, the Punto de Encuentro Simed-ACP Málaga brings together senior executives from leading property development and management companies to discuss market prospects and the future of housing in Spain.

Collaboration between the public and private sectors is another important focus of the exhibition. Public authorities, property developers and investors come together to discuss new solutions for increasing residential supply and developing affordable housing. These issues are at the heart of the 4th International Meeting on Protected, Social and Affordable Housing and Public-Private Partnership, organised with the Association of Public Housing and Land Managers (AVS), the Málaga Municipal Housing Institute and Housing Europe.
